Cameron Parry & Daniel Andrews

Best friends Cameron and Daniel celebrated after gaining exactly the same qualifications – having both studied the same course.

Cameron Parry and Daniel Andrews, both 19, studied Hardware Engineering at Middlesbrough College after attending Conyers Sixth form in Yarm together. They both achieved Triple Distinction Star and have their sights set on careers in cybersecurity.
Cameron, of Riversdene, Stokesley, said his dad’s career sparked his interest in the industry and he hopes to follow in his footsteps as either a network engineer or cybersecurity analyst.

“I’m going to Teesside University to study Cybersecurity and Networks and can’t wait to learn more about the industry,” he said.

Daniel, of Brendon Close, Ingleby Barwick, is looking forward to studying either Cybersecurity or Computer Science at Coventry University in Scarborough.

He said: “The course, facilities and teachers at the college have been great and have really helped me achieve the qualifications I need to go on and study at university. I can’t wait.”
