Alongside traditional trades you will have the opportunity to go into construction specialisms such as civil engineering and professional roles such as architecture. You will learn in state of the art workshops and have access to our outdoor construction site.

Middlesbrough College offers a range of courses in the construction sector, alongside traditional trades you will have the opportunity to go into construction specialisms such as civil engineering and professional roles such as architecture. You’ll develop skills in team building, problem solving, organisational, communication, decision making and digital technology.
You will have access to our recently refurbished Construction Skills Workshop! The workshop will give you the type of hands-on experience that employers need and will open the door to high skilled jobs in the sector.
Students will also have the opportunity to go on a range of site visits across the year, experiencing various refurbishments in order to gain an understanding of the challenges faced by industry professionals.
We also offer free personal protective equipment for our students.
