How to apply
Applying for a full-time course at Middlesbrough College or TTE is easy – here are the 5 steps you need to take.
Step 1: Be application ready
To apply to study with us you will need to get application ready. To do this you’ll need to make sure you have created an email account so that you can apply online.
Step 2: Apply!
Once you have found a course, there are two options to apply.
- Visit the course information page on the website and click ‘Apply Now’. This will lead you to an online application form that is submitted to our Admissions Team.
- Complete a paper copy of our application form. These can be found in the back of our full-time guide, during an Open Event or from a member of our Schools Team who come to your school. Paper copies can be sent in the post or handed into a member of our team.
Remember to get your application in to us as soon as possible as places are offered on a first come, first served basis and many courses fill up fast!
Step 3: Subject Showcase Event
When you have applied for a course at Middlesbrough College, you will be contacted by our Admissions team to invite you to a Subject Showcase Event. This is a good chance to visit the College and meet your tutors, have a tour of the area, take part in mini taster or workshop, and find out more about the courses you are going to study.
It also allows us to get to know when your career goals are and helps us work out if your chosen course is right for you.
Step 4: Offer
You will then be offered a place on your course, either via email or letter.
If you change your mind about what course you want to study, don’t worry. Contact us and we will be able to get you onto your preferred course!
Step 5: Enrolment
Once you have received your GCSE results, you will be able to enrol onto a course in August ready to start your studies in September.
Make sure you enrol as soon as possible!
