We have excellent relationships with local, regional and national employers and we are committed to finding you relevant and quality work experience during your time as a student at Middlesbrough College.
Work experience is important for getting into any career. Having a work placement can make you stand out from the crowd on applications for courses, training and jobs. Work experience can also help you decide what you want to pursue in your future career.
To ensure you get the most out of your work experience, our dedicated team will help you find the right work placement that supports your course and your career ambitions. You’ll be assigned a dedicated Work Placement Co-ordinator who will visit you and provide support throughout the whole process. You will also be provided with a travel card to ensure you can get to work each day!
The variety of modules we study during the course as allowed me to broaden my skill set, which is great for my future and for my portfolio. I got the opportunity to do a remote work experience placement with Creative Assembly in support of Ocean Generation. The placement have me a brilliant insight into the industry.
