Your Study Programme
We’re committed to helping you reach your future goals, whether that’s university, an apprenticeship, further study, or employment. Your study programme prepares you for the next step.
Your core qualification is the study option you choose at Middlesbrough College after your GCSEs (A Levels, T Levels, Vocational, or Apprenticeship).
If you don’t achieve the GCSE results you hoped for, Maths and/or English Language resits will be added to your timetable to support your success.
T Level courses include a 45-day industry placement, while other vocational courses may involve around 10 days or a set number of placement days.
Personal development sessions will be automatically added onto your timetable to help build your confidence, communication and valuable life skills.

“I really love studying here. The tutors are incredibly nice – they’re your friends as well as your teachers. They genuinely enjoy their subjects, which I think is really important. Because they’re so passionate about what they teach, they teach it well and the lessons are engaging. You can tell they really want you to succeed.”
Milly Marr, A Levels
“Following my work placement, I was thrilled to be offered an apprenticeship at One IT! My advice for anyone considering a course is to make the most of the experiences and opportunities that come your way. You will learn so much on the course, and it can lead you down various paths.”
