The Evidence Endowment Foundation (EEF) is an independent charity dedicated to breaking the link between family income and educational achievement. They do this by supporting schools, colleges, and early years settings to improve teaching and learning through better use of evidence.

In the 16–19 sector, there’s a growing demand for evidence on what works – to support learners effectively and make the best use of limited resources. College leaders and practitioners also value strong networks where they can share best practice and learn from one another.

The EEF’s new Evidence Partnership brings together six diverse colleges from across England, united in their commitment to strengthening evidence use in the 16–19 sector.

We’re proud to be a founding member of the Partnership, and excited to work together to put evidence into action and improve outcomes for young people in colleges across England.

The Partnership will have a particular focus on using evidence to improve outcomes for disadvantaged learners.

Together, we’ll set shared priorities and explore how best to support the sector to use evidence in ways that make a real difference – ensuring every learner has access to great teaching.
