ESOL Lecturer and EEF Advocate
I am an educator and ESOL Lecturer with over eight years of teaching experience across higher education, further education, and international online learning environments. I have an academic and professional background spanning teaching, curriculum delivery, and student support across the UK and internationally, with a strong commitment to inclusive, learner-centred practice. I am also an Education Endowment Foundation (EEF) Advocate, promoting evidence-informed approaches to teaching and learning practice.
I hold a Master of Education in Educational Leadership from Teesside University, UK, and a Master of Education in Educational Administration and Planning from Benson Idahosa University, Nigeria. I also hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Education, a Diploma in Theology, a Bachelor of Science in Laboratory Technology (Environmental Science Technology), and a TEFL Certificate.
My research includes a systematic review on the effect of headteachers’ leadership styles on teachers’ effectiveness and student outcomes in secondary schools in England. I have also explored the influence of teachers’ academic qualifications on student performance, as well as the correlation between principals’ leadership styles and teachers’ effectiveness in secondary schools.
I am committed to applying evidence-informed practices to enhance teaching, learning, and educational leadership.
