Welding Engineering – Level 1

September- June

You must have achieved an appropriate Entry Level vocational qualification, have a keen interest in Welding and/or GCSEs at grade 2-1 (E-F) or above including maths and English.

You will be assessed through practical assessments and online/paper based multiple choice examinations.

You will have the opportunity to progress onto the Level 2 programme or a gain employment as a Level 2 Apprentice in the field of Welding.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home- fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

If you are aged 19 or over, you may be required to pay fees depending on your residency status, educational background and personal circumstances.

All full time students will be offered a number of options to secure at least 10 days of meaningful work experience during the year.
