We caught up with A level student Thomas about studying Environmental Science at MC6!
Thomas said: “I came to a Middlesbrough College Open Event and was pleasantly surprised that the College offered Environmental Science A Level. I knew I wanted to study it as I always enjoyed geography at school. I wanted to learn more about conservation, ecosystems, and how they function locally. I’m really enjoying my studies! There’s always a good learning environment in the class which makes learning the content a lot easier. Andy is a great teacher, and we learn in a hands-on and interactive way.
“I would encourage anyone who is thinking of studying environmental science at MC6 to go for it! It’s a very modern subject and you get to learn about a lot of current issues and developments in the world. I’m not quite sure what I want to study after I complete my A Levels, but I would like to continue with environmental science and hopefully make a difference to the world one day!”
