There will be no scheduled lessons on Wednesday 29th November for full-time 16-18 year old students (excluding A Levels) due to a staff CPD day.
T Level results were tip-top for Middlesbrough College student Logan Riley, who has earned himself a Merit on his Design Surveying and Planning for Construction course and an apprenticeship at Rainham Industrial Services.
The 18-year-old from Middlesbrough said: “On the T Level course, you are guaranteed 45 days work experience so then you’re in a much better position when applying for further education and apprenticeships, as you have that hands-on experience and stand out from the crowd. It also is the perfect preparation for working life as it gets you into a routine.”
“I received a lot of support from my tutors. Even after I’d left for summer, they were still supporting me with writing my personal statement for university applications, which showed they really cared.”
“If anyone is considering applying for a T Level at Middlesbrough College, I’d just say go for it. There’s nothing else like it that gives you the theory as well as that experience in the workplace.”
Logan is now starting his apprenticeship at Rainham Industrial Services as a Quantity Surveyor and is looking at doing part time study at Northumbria University to further his qualifications.
