“I am really enjoying my course; the lessons are fun and the course content is really useful! We get to learn about a wide range of careers in Public Services which is ideal for giving a sense of direction when you leave College. My future ambition is to join the Fire Service as a Firefighter and the College really encourage me to achieve that goal.

“I can’t fault the staff, they are always happy to help you out with assignments and are really helpful in general.

“We get the opportunity to take part in a lot of outdoor activities such as Rock Climbing and Canoeing which is fun! I love that we are not 100% based in a classroom and that we have that chance to get out and do something practical.

“The facilities at the College are great, I use the gym a lot so to have one in the building that I can use anytime is a fantastic asset. 

“In my spare time I love competing in numerous events! In 2018 I began Shot Putting and have since gained the title of North East number one and I placed 6^th in the UK English School games in 2021. I have recently been selected to represent England in the World Championships in Germany for throwing sports.”
