You'll also be expected to complete valuable work placements in order to improve your employability and give your CV the competitive edge. On work placements you may find yourself in a hospital, a rehabilitation centre, a care home or even a day centre.

  2. Students will work in a realistic health ward as part of their studies within the College. This fantastic facility allows students to learn best practice in a work-based environment, including hygiene
  3. Middlesbrough College has great employer links, allowing students to secure placements in a range of health and care settings
  4. During placement, students may find themselves in a hospital, a rehabilitation centre, a care home or even a day centre
  5. Following completion of their course, students will be prepped with the knowledge and experience to apply for university degree courses including social care, mental health nursing and diagnostics radiotherapy
