Overview:

This course aims to train individuals in either the MMA, MAG or TIG welding process, in preparation to test in accordance with either ASME IX or BSEN 9606 -1. 

ASME stands for American Society of Mechanical Engineers. It is a professional organization that sets standards and codes for the autoclave industry. The ASME (American Society of Mechanical Engineers) sets code standards for the pressure vessel industry. 


Entry Requirements: 

Learners must have welding experience and it is desirable they have a minimum of a Level 2 in Welding. 


Course Duration:
2 days including assessment (Monday and Tuesday)


How will I be assessed?
The assessment will include a visual inspection and NDT/DT of the learner's practical assessment in accordance with ASME IX or BSEN 9606-1.

On successful completion of this course, learners will be awarded an ASME IX or BSEN 9606-1 certificate by the TWI.
