Security Academy

Learners will cover:

• SIA Level 2 Door Supervisor
• Emergency First Aid
• Level 2 Spectator Safety (optional)
• Level 1 Occupational Studies
• Level 1 Employment Training & Personal Development.

Various start dates available.

Set College Hours:

• Monday – Friday: 9:30am – 3.30pm

Close Protection Hours:

• 8am – 5pm

For Door Supervisor only:

• 2 weeks at 2 Queens Sqaure

7 days with CPS (Badge application will take place once qualifications are linked to the participants SIA account)

If learner wishes to complete Spectator Safety they will need to complete 7 further days (which includes 2 days mandatory work experience)

• Applicants must be aged 19+
• Must be a Tees Valley resident
• Must bring proof of benefit to enrolment session
• Applicants who have not lived in the UK or EU since birth must bring proof of residency, e.g. passport (3 years old) or residence permit.
• All applicants must complete an English and maths assessment prior to starting the course.
• Must have achieved Level 1 in English

Learners will receive an interview upon successful completion of the course with CP Security.

We also work with several other security companies, if the learners are unsuccessful, we will continue to work with them to support them into employment.

Individuals must be aged 19 or over, unemployed or employed and earning under £33,210 per annum to receive full funding.
