Property Maintenance Construction Academy

Course content:

• Developing Bricklaying Skills 
• Introduction to plastering techniques 
• Job interview techniques and skills, CV writing, personal presentation. 

Candidates will have the option to enrol onto Site Safety Academy to gain:

• Award in Health and Safety within a Construction Environment (RQF) 
• CSCS Card

And can also broaden their skills by enrolling onto further Construction Academies:

• Groundworks Academy
• Lifting, Rigging and Slinging Academy
• Joinery Academy
• Retrofit Academy

Various start dates available. Course sessions Monday – Friday, 9.30am – 3.30pm, for 3 weeks.

• Applicants must be aged 19+
• Must be a Tees Valley resident
• Must bring proof of benefit to enrolment session
• Applicants who have not lived in the UK or EU since birth must bring proof of residency, e.g. passport (3 years old) or residence permit.
• All applicants must complete an English and maths assessment prior to starting the course.
• Hold or be working at an Entry 3 English standard

Learners will be assessed through a portfolio of work and a practical assessment.

Individuals must be aged 19 or over, unemployed or employed and earning under £33,210 per annum to receive full funding .
