This course provides you with a good quality introduction to the performing arts, equipping you with background theory and performance skills in specialist areas of performing arts.
The course looks at acting, singing and dance throughout the year. We work towards two public performances and preparing you to progress on to the Level 3 course.
You will study professional development in the performing arts industry alongside skills, techniques and performance.
Performance and Production Arts students will have access to an on-site 156 seat commercial theatre with full sound and lighting capabilities plus many modern rehearsal rooms. Here, students will get the chance to develop their confidence and professionalism in one of our many productions across the year, either performing on stage or supporting with the staging, sound and music.
