Course overview

Develop the skills, knowledge and behaviours required to work in the UK’s exciting hospitality industry. This programme prepares learners for roles within restaurants, cafés, hotels, bars, conference centres and other food service environments.

You will learn how to provide excellent customer service, serve food and beverages professionally, process payments, manage bookings, prepare service areas, support hospitality events and work effectively as part of a team. Catering and Hospitality students will have the opportunity to work in our award winning training restaurant, The Waterside Brasserie. The restaurant is open to the public across the week and all the food is prepared and served by our students in one of our five fully equipped industrial kitchens.
