NCFE CACHE Diploma in Supporting Teaching and Learning – Level 3

Various start dates available. Days and times vary and will be confirmed with the IAG team

• There are no specific entry requirements for this course but GCSE English and Maths or Level 2 functional skills is preferred.
• Learners will need to obtain a placement within a school or college working with children and young people 5 year +.
• Learners will need to complete an enhanced DBS check.

All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods including written assessments, professional discussions and assessment of competency within the work setting.

This qualification provides you with the knowledge, understanding and skills to work in a variety of unsupervised job roles that support children and young people’s learning in schools or colleges.

Roles this qualification will prepare you for include:

• Teaching Assistant
• Learning Support Assistant
• Special Needs Assistant

Direct progression on the Level 4 Advanced Practitioner in Schools and Colleges, or a foundation degree.
