Course overview

This is a 2 week course, delivered face to face, on completion students will receive three sector specific qualifications and a certificate in employability skills;

  • L1 Safeguarding within the Early Years Environment
  • L1 Introduction to Early Years Settings
  • L2 Food Safety in Early Years Settings

Learners will also gain:

  • Employability Support with CV writing
  • Training within on-site skills based classrooms

Childcare & Early Years

Childcare students will be based in our multi-million pound campus, with specialist classrooms and equipment such as cyber babies and early years resources. Completing a work placement is a crucial element of our childcare courses as it means you can apply classroom learning in a real work environment.
