A Level Further Maths is a stimulating and challenging course which is highly regarded by employers and universities. It is studied as an additional subject to A Level Mathematics.
You will gain knowledge of a wide variety of mathematical techniques and develop skills in problem solving and analytical thinking. The course builds upon all GCSE work, especially algebra. The course can be taken as a 1 year AS Level or a 2 year A Level.
A Level students will be based in MC6, a modern, vibrant environment which promotes independent learning and study. The centre bridges the gap between school and university, with specialist classrooms and laboratories and open plan study and social spaces.
