Disconnection and Reconnection for AC Motors
Course overview
This course aims to give non-electrical personnel the electrical skills to carry out some electrical tasks, mainly disconnection and reconnection of motors
At the end of this course, students will:
- Understand the dangers of electricity
- Make isolations & restorations to a competency required for the tasks to be undertaken
- Understand basic electrical theory
- Be able to terminate and gland cables
- Use of Multimeters and assorted Test Meters
- Correct disconnection and reconnection of motors in various positions.
- Klixon (thermistor) and motor heater knowledge.
- Minor Works Certificate
