Applied Science is a course designed to build skills and knowledge in vocational science students for success in the science workforce. Prepare for a rewarding career in science by building a foundation in core subjects like chemistry, biology, and physics, and explore their practical applications within the context of an authentic Science workplace.
This is a full two-year BTEC course that is equivalent to three A-Levels.
A Level students will be based in MC6, a modern, vibrant environment which promotes independent learning and study. The centre bridges the gap between school and university, with specialist classrooms and laboratories and open plan study and social spaces.
