BSc (Hons) Computing (Top-up) – Full Time – Level 6

Applicants should have a related qualification at Level 5 (a Foundation Degree or equivalent). There will be an interview for all applicants with the programme leader. Successful candidates should hold qualifications in English language and mathematics to at least GCSE grade 4 or above (A-C) or demonstrate adequate skills and competencies.

Non-standard entrants are interviewed to assess their ability to complete the course, including a review of their professional experience and training gained in the workplace.

In order to meet all of the learning outcomes for each module delivered you will be assessed via summative assessments that may be in the form of, but not limited to, report writing, practical work, examinations, case studies, presentations, research and project work.

This programme is designed to provide you with the sought after professional skills and knowledge you need to enter both key and developing areas of computing.

Career destinations include application developer, web developer, security specialist, data analyst and database designer. The programme also qualifies you for entry to masters-level programmes.
