We caught up with Level 3 Food and Beverage Service student, Harvey Rolfe, about his experience at Middlesbrough College and his plans for the future.
“I chose to study Level 3 Food and Beverage Service because of my Nanna. She used to own a pub and it helped me decide I wanted to pursue a career in bar management.
“My favourite thing about studying here is the social side of the College – I even met my best friend here! I really like the campus and there are lots of outdoor seating areas, which helps with socialising.
“Everyone is so supportive – Clare, my personal tutor, has been really great.
“When I finish the course, I’m going to Rudding Park for bar management training. The College has a partnership with Rudding Park which really helped me when I was looking for work. I’m really looking forward to learning different techniques and being able to apply the skills I’ve gained at College.”
