Emily: “I left school and decided that College wasn’t for me as I wanted to work full-time and earn money. After working in customer service for a few years I decided to start exploring my future career options. I came to an Open Event at Middlesbrough College and was supported by the team to find a course that was right for me.
“I’m really enjoying studying my Access to Higher Education Diploma at Middlesbrough College. My future career ambition is to become a solicitor or a police detective. The skills and knowledge that I am gaining on my course are helping me to get where I want to be.
“The qualification is flexible and I’m able to work part-time whilst studying. Middlesbrough College is a lovely place to study, and the teachers here are really respectful and supportive. I would definitely recommend coming to study here!”
Austin: “The Access to Higher Education Diploma at Middlesbrough College is a fantastic course if you want to progress to University. I’m hoping to go to Leeds University to study Law after I’ve completed my course and then progress to a career in the legal sector.
“The course is well paced, flexible and engaging. The content is really interesting and is very useful for my University studies.
“The course is studied part-time which means that you can work alongside the qualification too. My advice to anyone who wants to change career or go to University is to consider studying for an Access course- you won’t regret it!”
