A Levels

If you are passionate about going to university and are academically minded then A Levels are the traditional route to achieving your career aspirations.

Choosing to study A Levels allows you to keep your options open, with focused study of three or four subjects across two years. You’ll be based in MC6, our modern A Level Centre which boasts a vibrant, independent environment, and helps bridge the gap between school and university.

Both employers and universities recognise the value in A Levels and they could lead to a variety of career routes.

Jobs that you could do with A Levels include:

Chemical Engineering | Journalism | Law | Business Management | Psychology | Teaching | Pharmacy | Biology | Marketing

My A Levels are very interesting as there’s so much to learn about and you never ever stop learning! They are all well connected and I enjoy learning more and more about each subject. The Sixth Form Centre is a great place to study; they have lots of good facilities. I am hoping to progress to university to study Physics.

We just decided we’d rather get out there and gain the experience of running a business instead of going to University. It’s what we both want to do.
Joshua Trimble testimonial
They tell you about all of the routes into the industry after college so you don't feel like university is the only option.
Joana Nikaj and Loic Mokase Becke testimonial
I really enjoyed studying at Middlesbrough College. It is a difficult situation in Albania so I was very glad to come here and have the support of the friends I made.
Molly Broughton testimonial
Jan has been so supportive of me, and even when I thought I couldn’t do something, she believed in me and encouraged me to go for it.
James Mallyon student testimonial
The support I got from Doc Spencer was fantastic. Doc is known as the dancing teacher because he introduces a lot of fun aspects to the class which really help you get to grips with harder concepts.
