Your Interview Questions Answered

23 January 2019

Are you attending an interview with us? Check out our frequently asked questions so you know what to expect on the day!

Do I need to attend my interview?

Yes. Interviews give you an opportunity to speak with the course tutor to ensure you have chosen the right course for your career path. If you can't attend your interview or have changed your mind about studying with us, please call and let us know on 01642 333601.

Is it formal?

The interviews are very informal and nothing to worry about. You will meet with a tutor from your chosen course to discuss the course content and what your career plans are to ensure that you have chosen the right course. You will also have the opportunity to ask any questions you may have.

What if I change my mind?

If you attend your interview and think that the course you have chosen may not be the one for you, let us know. We have plenty of courses to suit everyone! If you know which course you would like to transfer to you can call the Admissions team on 01642 33601. If you are unsure which course is best for you we would advise calling out friendly Careers Advisers who will talk you through your options, call 01642 333700.

What next?

Once you have attended your interview you will either be referred to another course or be given a conditional offer. If you are given an offer you do not have to do anything until after your receive your GCSE results in August. An enrolment letter will be sent to you inviting you to come into college in the last two weeks of August to collect your lesson timetable and badge. You will then be all set to start your course in September!

We look forward to seeing you at Middlesbrough College!
