A seasoned leader with over 22 years in further education, Gary brings a proven track record of forging strong industry partnerships and ensuring educational programs align with real-world needs.
Gary is a Senior and Strategic Manager for employer responsive provision at Middlesbrough College Group, ensuring we provide education and training of the highest possible quality that meets local employer needs. A key aspect of his role is building strong transformational partnerships with local employers and stakeholders.
Gary brings a wealth of experience to Middlesbrough College, having joined us in June 2024. His career began with a five-year Toolmaker apprenticeship, followed by a progression into Design Engineering. He subsequently held an Operations Manager role within the manufacturing sector before transitioning to education. Gary’s educational career spans a variety of roles, including Lecturer in Engineering, Higher Education Manager, and Head of Construction. His leadership journey continued with senior management positions at several colleges, culminating in roles as Assistant Principal, Vice Principal, and Principal.
