Programme leader for BA (hons) Film & Video Production at University Centre Middlesbrough, Middlesbrough College. HE lecturer in film, video, cinematography, post-production, and visual language for over 13 years.
Recognised as a Senior Fellow (SFHEA) by Advance HE. Researcher at University of York. Award winning freelance filmmaker. Independent cinematographer and director.
Andy’s previous work in film, television, and video has been celebrated across the globe and can be seen with the BBC, Channel 4, Film4, ITV, NBC, and many more.
Key research interests
Experimental aesthetic design, analogue applications in the digital world, enabling technologies in production workflows, and the education of young filmmakers.
