Parent and Toddler

This class builds fundamental gymnastics skills at a young age, so by the age of 3, children are ready to work independently. Various activities follow, including low rings, fast-track trampoline, bars beam, parachute and an activity circuit, and change from week to week. Sessions last for 1 hour finishing with songs and stickers. The session is half hour parent led on the on the soft play equipment and half hour qualified coach led on the gymnastics apparatus. Come along and have some fun!

Stay and Play (from crawling – 3 years)

 Stay and play is an opportunity for little ones to have fun with their parents/guardians within Gymworld’s bespoke facility. Sessions last for 45 minutes.

Parent/guardian led session, (qualified coach in attendance) to help little ones explore our selection of soft play equipment and gymnastics-based activities.

Each session begins with either a game or hand apparatus warm up, followed by stretches, and a foam pit run. Children follow a carefully designed gymnastic programme created by Gymworld duo Paula & Robert, working to develop confidence, independent learning and social skills. Along with fundamental skills, improving action, balance and co-ordination.

Each session lasts for one hour and are booked through this online booking system in 8-week blocks.

Here at Gymworld, we follow the British Gymnastics RISE award scheme which enables children to achieve certificates and medals. This age group will work on RISE Discover.

Children follow a carefully designed gymnastic programme created by Gymworld duo Paula & Robert, working on floor skills, apparatus -bars, beam, rings, fast-track trampoline or vault and awards.

These sessions are open to all who want to try their hand at gymnastics but are also a progression from the advanced gymnastic classes. There are no specific awards for these sessions and the learning of skills is the individuals’ choice subject to ability.

All sessions begin with a full body warm-up and basic gymnastic elements (lasting 30 minutes), before moving onto the range of apparatus available. Participants are supervised at all times by fully qualified British Gymnastics Coaches.

Wednesday: 7:15pm – 8:45pm

Lessons cost £7.00 per session.

Are you a nursery, school or a community group looking for exciting gymnastics sessions in a unique environment? If so, Gymworld is for you!

We can offer a fantastic way for children to engage in gymnastics which will benefit participation in other sports and help develop fundamental skills. It is a great way to reward students who love sporting activities and ideal for sports week.

Organised and led by our team of fully qualified and experienced British Gymnastics Coaches, these parties are designed to get children active, have fun and try something new!

The parties start of with a soft play warm up for under 5’s or warm-up activities and stretches for those over. Your child and their friends have the opportunity to try out the centre’s specialist equipment including the fast-track trampoline, balance beam and swinging on the rings into the foam pit.

We offer several types of parties which are age dependent:

• 3 – 5 year olds
• 5 years and above
• Gymnastics skills party

After a fun filled hour, it’s party food time – choose from our hot or cold food packages.

Costs & booking information

The cost of the party is £200, for 20 children, including food and will last for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Gymnastics parties run on a Saturday from 1.30pm. Sunday and School holiday slots may be available subject to dates.
