Vault, balance, and leap without limits with the talented Gymnastics Academy at MC!
As a member of this academy, you will receive specialist coaching sessions designed to fit around your individual needs, with experienced coaches who deliver bespoke training to your discipline. You can also expect the opportunity to partake in both regional and national championships!
The Academy has competed in both regional and national championships, in a range of disciplines including floor & vault, acrobatics, and tumbling. The team have even made it through to the National Milano Team Championships, with alumni members going on to represent Great Britain!

Our state of the art, specialist gymnastics centre comes fully equipped with Olympic apparatus, specialist sponge foam landing pits, a sunken rebound, overhead rigs and twisting belts.
Operated in partnership with the Teesside Gymnastics Association and local gymnastics clubs, this fantastic facility alongside our six courts sports hall provides a unique training, competitions and events facility for gymnasts!
Gymworld facilities include a competitive sprung floor area, high bar, rings, fast track trampoline, high balance beams and foam fit.

We are TASS Dual Career Accredited
TASS (Talented Athlete Scholarship Scheme) is an athletic support programme, which helps talented athletes to balance their sport and studies, with the goal of them being able to reach their potential in both. The programme is open to all elite athletes on any course at Middlesbrough College, not just Sports and Leisure courses.
