High flyer Samantha Mason is now travelling the world for a living thanks to a successful stint at Middlesbrough College.
The 20 year old from Ingleby Barwick got a job working as a passenger service agent at Durham Tees Valley Airport, and stayed there for two years.
She has now snapped up a coveted job at British Airways as a member of the cabin crew following her degree with distinction in travel and tourism at Teesside University.
It’s an exotic life for the former student, whose first flights after completing BA training have included destinations in the Caribbean, South America and the US.
“The things I learned at college, such as terminology, really help to put you ahead of the rest when you go for a job."
