"The BSc (Hons) Music Technology degree covers such a wide range of modules relating to the audio and music industry. The three year course provided me with really good practical skills for my future along with the academic theory to back it all up.

"Each lecturer is from an industry background and they cover the modules that they are truly passionate about - creating a great atmosphere in lessons! Every student has consistent access to one-on-one discussion with their lecturers which is rare in a university degree.

"The equipment for teaching is kept up to date and cutting edge; from software to the studio equipment and musical instruments.

"Thanks to this degree I have gone on to do a placement at Bloomberg London as an Audiovisual Technician and have since been offered a full- time job in Belfast as an Audiovisual Engineer.

"I was amazed by the amount of work available to me after completing my course - it has opened new doors to jobs I didn't think I could apply for. I hope to go on to progress my career in this industry and work my way towards a senior position in the future.

"Graduating was the final gratification from all of the hard work over the past three years. It makes you realise that your dedication helps you to accomplish something really impressive and satisfying.

"Alongside graduating, I found studio work to be a real course highlight. It's so much fun to record and mix real bands and artists, and it taught me a lot about interaction within the industry as well as allowing me to be creative. Any studio workshop is a day look forward to!"
