A level students Diana da Silva de Andrade and Jodie Simmons have decided to put their new skills to immediate use, and instead of going on to further education, they’ve started a photography business together.
From Middlesbrough the pair met in photography class and found it was a shared passion. The partners started Jo and D Photography and have already covered two weddings.
“We just decided we’d rather get out there and gain the experience of running a business instead of going to University. It’s what we both want to do,” said Diana.
Originally from Portugal, Diana got an A in Media, a B in photography and a B in film studies. Jodie achieved a C in photography and film studies and a D in art.
