Course overview

This course provides you with a good quality grounding in performing arts, equipping you with background theory and performance skills in Dance.

On the Dance route you will explore and develop skills in commercial dance, contemporary dance, Jazz dance, dance performance, Audition skills and acrobatics.

In addition to these weekly workshops, you will get the opportunity to develop some of you own work and ideas and prepare for performances such as a Cabaret, Pantomime or end of year Musical.

Explore Performing Arts

Performance and Production Arts students will have access to an on-site 156 seat commercial theatre with full sound and lighting capabilities plus many modern rehearsal rooms. Here, students will get the chance to develop their confidence and professionalism in one of our many productions across the year, either performing on stage or supporting with the staging, sound and music.
