Level 3 Senior Production Chef Apprenticeship
Course overview
Senior production chefs lead or support kitchen teams, reporting to the head chef or line manager. They supervise teams in various settings like schools, hospitals, the Armed Forces, care homes, and casual dining. Roles include Head Chef, Second Chef, Kitchen Manager, and Cook. They ensure daily kitchen operations run smoothly, maintaining food standards, legislative requirements, and quality throughout production and supply.

Catering and Hospitality students will have the opportunity to work in our award winning training restaurant, The Waterside Brasserie. The restaurant is open to the public across the week and all the food is prepared and served by our students in one of our five fully equipped industrial kitchens.
