We caught up with Adam who is an MC6 Student Leader!

“I’m really enjoying being an MC6 Student Leader! I enjoy meeting new people, sharing ideas and building new connections across the Sixth Form and the College. I’m also a Student Ambassador at the College which is brilliant as I get to help, provide guidance and inspire potential students and current students at the College.

“I would recommend studying at Middlesbrough College. The College care about you and want to hear your ideas. You are respected here and treated like an adult. I would also recommend becoming a Student Ambassador or Student Leader as it is a great addition to your CV or any job or University applications that you’ll do in the future.

“The staff at MC6 are incredibly supportive and I’ve been well supported well during my studies by the team at MC6, the Safeguarding Team and the ALS Team. Everyone wants you to do well and supports your wellbeing.

“I’ve also had the opportunity to do paid work experience with Redcar and Cleveland Council in a Business Support role whilst I’ve been at College, and this has inspired me to pursue a Higher Apprenticeship in Business Management.

“MC6 is supporting me with my career ambition and my A Levels and the experiences offered at MC6 are developing my transferable skills and knowledge that will help me with my applications.”
