I have already gained a wide range of knowledge and skills so far and continue to learn more each day. You will also be able to pick up additional qualifications which is a huge bonus!

“Even though COVID-19 has had an impact on our time studying in College, there has still been a great deal of support available and our teaching has continued online to a high quality.

“The teaching and support I have received so far has been incredible, especially given the circumstances of online teaching. My teachers are so friendly and helpful and offer extra help, knowledge and support wherever they can.

“Likewise, my peers are very helpful and I know I can rely on them when I need help and guidance.  It is a great course to be part of with a lovely and friendly group of people.

“When I have completed my degree I am hoping to work in an outdoor centre, working with young children and adults. The skills I have learnt so far will help me to achieve this goal.  

“I have enjoyed learning new things on my course, particularly the practical and activity days. This has included kayaking, hiking, navigation, forest school and bush craft. I found I was able to push myself out of my comfort zone on these days!

“The outdoor facilities at Middlesbrough College are also fantastic and there is a wide range of equipment and kit.
