James is a IT Security and Compliance Analyst Level 3 apprentice working in the Digital Services team at Middlesbrough College.
James said: “I studied Level 3 Information, Networking and Security at Middlesbrough College and loved it! I’ve always been interested in computers and the latest technology so the course was perfect for me.
“I decided I wanted to work when I finished my course at College instead of progressing to University, so an apprenticeship was the best route for me. The team at the College helped me to look at all my options, apply for the apprenticeship vacancy I wanted and prepare me for the interview. The whole process was straightforward, and I was supported throughout. Thanks to the help of the team at Middlesbrough College I was successful in securing the role- I was delighted when I found out!
“I’m really enjoying my apprenticeship. The tutors are knowledgeable and it’s great to be able to put my skills into action in the workplace.
