NCFE CACHE Working with Children in Early Years and Primary Settings – Level 2

(Module content may vary)

Units include:

• Child development from birth to 11 years
• Play and Learning
• Exploring legislation
• The role of the Childcare Practitioner
• Nutrition
• Physical development and physical activity

Various start dates available. Students will study 2 days per week.

Good level of English and maths (working towards L2)2 Week work experience placement

All units will be internally assessed using a range of methods including written assessments, professional discussions and assessment of competency within the work setting.

Learners can progress onto a Level 3 course in Childcare and Early Years ro Teaching and Education. Learners can also progress into employment.
