This Level 4 qualification aims to provide professional development opportunities for practitioners working in the school and college workforce. This qualification will embrace the wealth of experience, proven knowledge and skills of the learner in a teaching and learning environment. It will challenge the learner in both daily practice and theoretical understanding.
Learners will complete 5 mandatory units which explore the effectiveness of their learning environments, a crucial evaluation of SEND and Mental Health services and support for Schools and Colleges in the UK and working with professionals and families. To complete the course learners will research, design, and implement change in their own settings. Research skills will be threaded throughout the course to support academic skills and progression into roles and responsibilities of a HLTA or leadership and management roles with a school or college.
