Course overview

If you are interested in following a career within the creative sector, then this is a great place to start. In line with the most up to date industry practice, this course is designed to be multidisciplinary, allowing you to experience and practice an exciting range of skills including fine art, illustration, photography, digital graphics, fashion and textiles, and to integrate these into your project work. As well as exploring set briefs, you will also develop independent creative projects, allowing you the freedom to develop your project work in an individual way.

Typical routes learners choose to develop their project work in include:

  • Fashion and Textiles
  • Photography and Digital Graphics
  • Fine Art and Illustration

As well as Practical Skills and Creative Projects, you will work on Personal Progression, where you will investigate career opportunities and routes within the creative sector. There are no exams on this course, as all work undertaken is assignment based. You can study this course for one year to achieve the Diploma, or two years to achieve the Extended Diploma.
