“Studying at Middlesbrough College is one of the best things I have done. All of the lessons are well planned out and can be adapted if we need any extra help with any particular topics- the work can be challenging but is very interesting. I also do practical work which involves taking computers apart, installing software and creating a small network.
“I would fully recommend studying at Middlesbrough College, I have made lifelong friends and I love studying here! The staff are also friendly and supportive. It is overall just a great place to study and make friends.
“The teaching and support I have received from tutors is brilliant. They are always around if you are stuck and need help with anything. They have also helped me to start to be able to overcome my fear of talking in front of people, which has always been a big disadvantage for me.
“After I’ve completed my course I am planning on either doing a Level 4 apprenticeship or the studying the FD Computing degree at Middlesbrough College.
“I am currently doing a T Level placement in IT support within Nicholas Postgate Catholic Academy Trust. This involves a variety of different tasks such as general IT support, network upgrades, maintaining the network and hardware. I go into different schools which gives me the opportunity to meet new people and see how different systems work, which has helped me to build my confidence.
“This experience has been beneficial to me as has provided me with hands on experience in a real working environment.”
