You must have a L3 NEBOSH Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety. We reserve the right to check qualifications for entry criteria to the course and cancel your enrolment with a full refund if there is no proof of certification.

The NEBOSH National Diploma is the flagship NEBOSH award and is the first UK vocational qualification to be developed specifically for health and safety professionals.

Since its introduction in 1988 it has become established as the most popular qualification of its kind, with over 10,000 students having successfully gained the diploma.

Modules include:

  • Management of Health and Safety including Risk control, Human Factors, Organisational Factors and Health & Safety Law
  • Hazardous Agents including Chemical & Biological Agents, Noise, Vibration and Psychosocial Agents
  • Workplace & Work Equipment hazards including Fire & Explosion, Work Equipment, Electrical Safety and Construction
  • Workplace based Assignment

Year 1: Thursday, 2.00pm - 9.00 pm.

Year 2: Wednesday, 2.00pm - 9.00 pm.


Entry requirements

You must have achieved a NEBOSH Certificate or an equivalent NVQ 3 level Award for Health and Safety.

You will be asssessed through a 3 hour written exam and a 8,000 word workplace based assignment.

Students will obtain the NEBOSH National Diploma and can then become Graduate Members of IOSH (Institution of Occupational Safety and Health). This leads eventually to Chartered Membership of the Institute.

The College Careers Service is available to all our students. We can help you when deciding which course or option you wish to take. During your course we ensure you develop employability skills and gain relevant experience. We provide information, advice and support when completing your course and progressing to work or going into higher education. When applying for university we can provide support with the UCAS application and Student Finance.


Please note, this course is a full cost course and therefore there is no fee remission available to any student.
