My cousin came to Middlesbrough College and loved their time here, and after looking on the website and seeing the Childcare course, I knew it was the right route for me too.

I looked at a few other colleges in the area, however here stood out due to the facilities, standard of teaching and connections for placements.

The course is challenging, but it's brilliant. The teachers are always on-hand to help and ensure that we're prepared for future progression.

There's a really nice atmosphere here and I've made loads of friends. There's also a good mix of canteens to choose from as well as a shop, and there's plenty of places to sit and relax!

I'm wanting to work in holiday care, potentially on cruise ships, and I definitely feel like the course has helped me to prepare for this.
