Molly Broughton

Studious Molly Broughton earned herself a top set of A Level results thanks to her hard work.

The 18-year-old from Brotton, scooped A Levels in Law (A*), Psychology (A) and Maths (B).

Molly, who previously attended Freebrough Academy, is now set to study Business Management at Teesside University.

She was spurred to study the subject after working a hotel and realising her ambitions to go into management.

Molly singled out her maths teacher, Jan McCabe, who she said supported her throughout A Levels.

She said: “Jan has been so supportive of me, and even when I thought I couldn’t do something, she believed in me and encouraged me to go for it.”
