Celebrating Level 3 Results Day 2026!
Shayne Jeffrey achieved an outstanding set of results after receiving three As in Biology, Chemistry and Maths, securing a place to study Medicine at Bangor University.
Alongside Shayne’s A Levels, he also achieved an A* in his EPQ, which explored the ethical debate around whether euthanasia should be legalised in England and Wales.
He said the support from College played an important role in his success: “The teachers have been brilliant; I wouldn’t have been able to do it without them.”
The five-year Medicine course begins in September and will include placements from the first year, giving him the opportunity to experience different aspects of medicine and help him consider which area he may eventually specialise in.
