“When leaving school and thinking about my options, Middlesbrough College really stood out to me over other colleges. Both the teaching and facilities are the best in the area to pursue further opportunities after studying!

“I thoroughly enjoyed the course and my teachers. My two years on campus were very interactive, and gave me my own space to develop and prepare for university.

“I would definitely recommend studying here - you are given the chance to develop yourself, along with being offered a number of opportunities to go on trips, and to gain experience in sporting sectors outside of the College.

“The teaching support was excellent - the tutors were always there to answer questions, or provide any help if needed.

“Fast forward a few years, and I am now GB Mens Goalball Performance Analyst and Full Time Care Assistant.

“The knowledge and skills I learnt at the College were so beneficial to my current career!

“During my final year, we also had a module taught at university level - this prepared me on what to expect and what step-up would be needed to be successful in my chosen profession.

“I really enjoyed the group dynamic we had during the two year course. We were all friends in and out of college which made college life even more enjoyable.

“I also enjoyed the mixture of taught and practical across the course - meaning we were not always at laptops or based in a classroom.

“As for work experience opportunities, I spent time at my previous school helping in the PE department, which gave my CV an edge!

“I found the College a friendly and safe place to study and I would definitely recommend studying here!”
