In the first year of the T Level Health course, you will complete two 2.5 hour written exams: one for Core A, which covers key areas such as legislation, safeguarding, person-centred care, and infection control; and one for Core B, which focuses on anatomy, physiology, and understanding disease.
You will also complete an employer-set project based on a real-world healthcare scenario. The course is designed to prepare you for employment, an apprenticeship, or university.
You’ll spend three days a week in college learning core knowledge and skills, one day on placement with a local healthcare provider, and one day dedicated to independent study.
You’ll explore a range of topics across the health and care sector, and upon completion, you’ll receive a final grade of Pass, Merit or Distinction, equivalent to three A Levels.
