T Level – Leadership and Management – Level 3

The qualification will help you gain an understanding of the Leadership and Management sector, and you will cover the following core content:

Core 1 – Business Context
Core 2 – People
Core 3 – Quality Compliance
Core 4 – Finance
Core 5 – Policies & Procedures
Core 6 – Project and Change Management
Core 7 – Business Behaviours

Core knowledge will be externally assessed via 2 exam papers and a 25hr Employer set project.

In year 2, you will study a standalone occupational specialism in Leadership & Management which is externally assessed via a 30hr array of tasks.

September – June

You must have achieved an appropriate Level 2 vocational qualification and/or five GCSEs at grade 5 (C) including maths and English.

If you don’t have the entry requirements for our T Levels, don’t worry. Ask our team about the T Level foundation course.

T Levels are assessed through exams, employer-set projects and practical assignments.

After completing this T Level, you can progress to University for further study, an apprenticeship, or employment.

University Opportunities
The completion of this qualification gives students the opportunity to progress onto higher education courses and training.

Career Opportunities
Career opportunities include a variety of roles within the management and administration sector.

Our MC Click scheme provides full time students (ages 16-19) on a Level 1, 2 or 3 study programmes with a free loan laptop to assist with their studies. Laptops can be collected at enrolment. Click here for more information about MC Click.

Tuition fees are free if you are a UK or home-fee status student and aged 16-18 on the 31st August before the start of your course.

All full-time students will be offered a number of options to secure at least 10 days of meaningful work experience during the year. This is an important aspect of the course and will help to develop your skills to get a job, progress to a higher level qualification at Middlesbrough College or potentially gain a place at university.
